Campuses around the world have closed their doors, driving classrooms to reassemble online. According to Anantha Duraiappah, director of UNESCO's Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development, online learning “allows the potential of individualized learning and offers the prospect of radically changing a system that frankly has not changed or evolved over the past 300-odd years.”
