“Transitions are a natural phenomenon in every person's life, furthermore, if we conceive this as a natural phenomenon, perhaps in ecology, there is a theory that predators drive evolution because they force prey to adapt... and quickly. We are adapting to a new era, this transition is teaching us the importance for flexible and coherent spaces for work and not just liveable ones; plus, as an architect, this transition has shown me how space transcends "outside de four-walls", crossing tangible frontiers and staying connected with digital tools... Digital Spaces.
In my opinion, how we conceive the working space will change radically, the importance of focusing on the things we truly need is the real lesson, perhaps, avoiding traffic jams on our cities, dedicating more time to our beloved ones... more adapting and flexible spaces that responds to multiple programs, such as, eating, social, working, sleeping, among others are required even more; perhaps this much-needed transition will change the way we perceive our planet and change the ridiculous consumption of unnecessary media, focusing on preserving and saving our natural environment.”
