“Back to school to complete my final year in school in 2019, I was used to having 2 work stations: one at home & the other at school (meaning the library). I have always done most of the work at home before the pandemic, yet now it has been an absolute necessity to maintain this home office. My maintenance rules are as followed:

1. Having a station for digital work and a station for paper work (journaling, drafting, sketching, other craft activities). A cheap camping table does wonder for the 2nd task. For the digital work station, this cheap desk ordered from Amazon is perfect for its V shape - as water & snack can stay on one side while I work on the other. In each workstation, I have one bullet journal: a creative one for the digital station & the other one for scheduling & planning at the paperwork station.

2. Weekly decluttering, including cleaning & disinfecting. I also use a simple filing system, including horizontal drawers & vertical file containers to store folders & paperwork. Keeping everything clean and organized is an absolute must for me, especially when it comes to doing creative work. My personal work is very bright & colorful, but the work station has always been almost ascetic. Unlike many other creatives, I'm not a fan of wall posters/ memorabilia - as I store those in my head/ on the Cloud.”
