Social distancing at its finest

2020/04/20  |  Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia

“This past weekend, on April 19th and 20th, Nova Scotia experienced the worst mass shooting in Canadian history. The killer went on a rampage that began Saturday night and he was finally caught by the police on Sunday in the late morning. He drove around the province, setting fire to several houses and shooting victims. 22 innocent lives were lost, including a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

It is difficult for the families of the victims and for communities to mourn with social distancing during this tragedy. Across the country, many households have hung the Nova Scotia flag and put hearts in the windows. People have also been lighting candles to mourn the victims.”
