“Local bookstore in greenpoint, near where I worked in the summer of 2018. I frequented greenpoint after that whenever I came to NYC, and especially since the later part of 2019, when I started living and working here. It was quite something to come back to this weirdly crowded street, where people would get to-go cocktails, admist the now closed, and still open, shops and bars. I walked into this bookstore (Word bookstore, I think) once before in 2018. It's a nice place. I think they operate under appointment now, but their window sign was lovely. If you go to Greenpoint get a frozen pina colada from Broken Land, across this bookstore. I was very happy to find out that they were still doing to-gos when I visited yesterday:)”
