“I paint our local ice cream shop’s window annually. When the shop owner reached out to me this year, she wanted a scene that would spread hope and love for what’s going on in the world. I was pleased to make her words come to life. I chose 6 main characters of Six Lakes to pay tribute to our frontline workers; trucker, officer, clerk, fireman, nurse, and farmer. By no means does this mean all other essential workers are less important or unrecognized for their hard work. We love and care for you all!”
