"A few weeks ago, I decided to make a lasting statement as to just how much we love the NHS in our household. The rainbow has become a symbol of hope and solidarity to bring a smile to everyone's faces and let those key workers know that they are not alone.

It's a sentiment that the whole UK is making clear by coming out on a weekly basis and clapping for all the hard-working doctors, nurses and hospital domestics, as well as the other people in our communities who are coming together to help keep the country running.

Now if the government would kindly pay the doctors and nurses their dues so that we might properly thank them, that would be lovely.

My youngest sister is a nurse in Central London, my ma is a domestic in a care home and one of my other sisters cares for the elderly in the community by going into their homes to care for them.

Every single day that they go out, they are putting their lives on the line to help keep this country going and I could not be prouder of them!

Stay home, stay safe and save the NHS. We are finally starting to see lowering numbers but now most certainly isn't the time to be complacent."
