“To me at least, it’s exposed a lack of basic empathy in spaces of corporate power and wealth. The lowest earners are often the hardest workers, and are also often the first to be cut. It’s forced a lot of creative professionals and freelancers like myself to rely more on personal relationships than professional ones. All of the respect I have lost for corporate individuals has been replaced tenfold with total awe of the compassion, love, and radicalism other workers have met the moment with.”
